Ben is an experienced professional in the minerals projects and industrial operations industry and have proven to be successful in various roles of Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Business Manager on various projects and businesses, working for many different clients, companies and operations.
Ben’s experience range from working for large corporate minerals companies and large engineering consultants, to small and medium size business, including start-ups. His projects experience include working on projects globally, including New Zealand, Canada, North West Africa and South Africa just to name a few, with capital costs ranging from small scale up to US$300 million.
Rudolph van Niekerk
Rudolph is a professional in the mining and resources industry with over 10 years’ experience in project and business management.
Through his career Rudolph held different roles in management of projects and operations, with various responsibilities including financial evaluation, risk review and management, project management, study management, development of capital and operating cost estimates, budget development and cost control, design management, planning, reporting, contract administration, quality control, expediting, construction, commissioning, production ramp-up and project hand-over to operations.
Brett brings over 17 years of experience in project management, engineering design and operations serving the Australasian resources industry. His experience includes project management, feasibility study evaluation, engineering & design, estimating, financial evaluation, cost control, scheduling, contracts & procurement, business risk and strategic development.
Brett has studied, project managed and executed projects from small scale jobs up to multibillion dollar complex projects. He has also been responsible for environmental permitting and approvals, heritage, native title negotiations, external relations, and tenure management.
Brett has also been involved in numerous M&A and due diligence reviews in recent years.
Albert is a certificated (GCC Mines) and professional (ECSA) mechanical engineer and project management professional (PMI) with diverse engineering experience in the Underground Gold Mining Industry. Albert is also experienced in the requirements and duties of the project management and lead engineering roles to manage the output of multi-disciplinary engineering teams and all other staff necessary for project implementation through the project processes and the EPC(M) project phases for mineral processing and mining industries.
Albert has delivered projects successfully from scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility study phases through implementation to administrative and contractual closure with values ranging between US$10m and US$400.
Albert is currently responsible for business growth and engineering support and standards as the Executive Officer for Business Development for a company specialising in the recovery of PGE and chromite concentrate from RoM ore and tailings.
